The 5052 aluminum strip is Al-Mg rust-proof aluminum. Compared with 3A21, 5A02 has higher strength, especially high fatigue strength; similar to 3A21, plasticity and corrosion resistance are high; Heat treatment can not be strengthened, weldability by contact welding and hydrogen atom welding is good, and there is a tendency of crystal cracking during argon arc welding; alloy has good machinability in cold hardening and semi-cold hardening, and poor machinability in annealed state , can be polished.

Heat treatment specification:
1. Homogenization annealing: heating 440 ℃; holding 12 ~ 14 h; air cooling.
2. Rapid annealing: heating 350 ~ 410 ℃; holding time 30 ~ 120min; air cooling or water cooling.
3. High-temperature annealing: heating to 350-420 ℃; when the thickness of finished product is ≥ 6mm or < 6mm, the heat-insulating time is 2-10 min or 10-30 min; air cooling.
4.Low-temperature annealing: heating to 250-300 ℃ or 150-180 ℃; keeping the temperature for 1-2 h, air cooling.
